Great information thankx for sharing!!. I am a fan of Wendy because of amazing information she shares in a friendly and understandable way. Good Work I really appreciate it😀
Great podcast session. So much great information. Thank you ❤
I love the clarity and concise detail of information. You both explained the kinetic chain perfectly. Now I have a greater understanding. Thank you Marty and Wendy ❤
Excellent content 👌
🙌🏻 Excellent presentation-so informative!! Thank you!! ❤🏋🏻♂️ 1:07 Dr. Brad Dieter 10:17 Daily recommended protein for muscle growth. 27:35 Protein & Weight Loss - Very cool study and results! This shows the importance of sticking to high protein when in a caloric deficit for sure. 33:29 Menopausal women should maintain slightly higher protein (excellent to know this!). Thank you!! 34:02 Seniors and protein. 38:46 🦴 Bone Density 39:57 Kidneys 41:31 🏋️♀️ Protein consumption window after working out. Shoot for within 2 hours, but the closer to the workout, the better. 44:52 Eat carbs with protein for better muscle gaining results. 🥭🍎 47:30 EatToPerform
This was really helpful, thanks so much!! I do get most of my protein from animal sources, as they’re more bioavailable, to my understanding, but I do try to source from regenerative farms, and Certified Humane as well, as I cannot support the horrible conditions for the animals of factory farming. These sources, which are also grassfed and pasture-raised, are also much healthier. Win, win! ❤
Thanks for doing these, I try to watch as many as possible. I'd love to see one where you dive more into specific compensations and the associated issues and how you have seen them impact clients in the past.
Thanks for the deep dive. I always find it helpful to review the building blocks of movement.
Awesome content i see on your channel Do you need video editor for your content? Let’s have an calendly call?
Great stuff! Spot on. Great episode. A must share. 🔥
How come this isn’t accurate compared to what I’m seeing through the CPT 7 Nasm course?
For example, you talk about how the medial gastrocnemius is interactive but the course says the entire gastrocnemius is overactive. Just confused what to listen to. Because I obviously want to pass the exam but I also want to know the correct information
Also, the course mentions that the glutes are underactive when feet turns out and Rick doesn’t mention anything about this.
This is an excellent layout of how to change a person who might be nationally geared to be "realistic" but they are denying themselves the successful being a pragmatic optimist
I can't tell you how grateful I am for your explanation and visuals. I love it when something finally clicks because it will drive me crazy until I truly understand something so that I can explain it myself. THANK YOU!!😊
Athletic brewing!!
Naval Academy is COLLEGE!! 😂 wtf? “I’m from Maryland….” Has no clue what USNA is. Bro get wrecked. My brother graduated from there. Would love to see actual citations from this dude.
“Trainers don’t like to read research”…. Bro that is a broad generalization. 😂…. The trainer that hates trainers and NASM… who is this guy again ? 😂
I kinda agree with him but he is being cocky about not being cocky 😂…. Pointing fingers at people and essentially making fun of people for their certifications and degrees…. Like it doesn’t make you better because you think the certs are trash. I think creating unity instead of whatever this is…. Would be better
So…. I guess I won’t be getting my corrective exercise 😂
I have my fifth NASM certification I have won pull up contest from the biggest gyms. I have videos of me doing pull-ups with three plates on my waist and dips. The best pull up is the synergistic pull up. Where are you engaged? Yes, your grip your biceps, your core. If your body is recruiting your upper trapezius, then it’s most likely that rhomboids mid and upper trapezius is overactive if you look in see where the lats originate and insert that would make sense. It’s better to study the insertion points and the origin of the muscles to truly understand how much muscle is engaged during which form.
What is the resistance of the band? It looks fairly heavy.
Lol episode! ❤it ty for sharing
Worthless
Yes
Can we just appreciate how perfect and clean those were
Eccentric contraction as I understand it is contraction as the muscle lengthens. So with a squat, would the eccentric phase be as you rise vs lower?
Great Information. Thanx for sharing
I find it weird that these programs don’t talk about actual workouts. Which dosent make any sense.
She said nothing…
One thing i can say for sure Black people are really good at athletics and explaining and doing the form total correctly, not just this vid I've seen the others too where it's mostly black athletes that explain the best
❤ cool!! Very helpful!!
Wendy is the A.I. ... Awesome Intelligence
Thanks for the good info! Always with the best information!
Thanks for having me! Always down to chat w coaches and trainers and offer ways to help - Taylor
26:42 Great episode. Thick. Solid. Tight.
❤🙏🏽😮 This was SoOo on time for me! This is something I have applied to my life in different ways before, but I really needed this reminder right now and the great thing is it’s right in the season of me organizing the inside of my life to be more minimalistic. Thank you so much! I could’ve listen to this talk for at least an hour and I love how you applied less is more to this presentation as far as the length too! lol 😅 great examples, great information, & I love how you came from the different angles, and lastly I loved your vulnerability and honesty with you working to apply this even more to your life as well. Touché all the way around! Can’t wait to hear the next parts in the series. 🎉😊🙏🏽
Your mom has the power of the universe
Really great information.
Great content!
Wouldn't a lot of these issues be alleviated by listening to the client and understanding what their goals are?
Thanks for your video! 🎉
There is also foods to avoid to minimize inflammation
Thank you for great podcast. And 100% about reversing damages 🙏 I am proof of that💕
This women is hurting people with her opinion beware
Very informative. Thank you Wendy and Kenneth (Ken😁)
Great video! Thank you! I'm glad someone has finally addressed this. I have 2 big irks -- First, when I'm on the treadmill and there are two rows of vacant treadmills, DO NOT park yourself on the one next to me. Let's create some space! Second, people who are on their phones while (walking) on the treadmill with the speaker on AND speaking in another language. OMG! I'm praying for patience. 🤣
Love this! Finally someone speaking out!
Good video! Respect!
On point about the chalk lol
